On a beautiful day in 2006 while playing Halo 2 Extreme Gaming (EG) was born. Who would have thought something so small would grow to become what it is today, an online gaming community with thousands of members (growing as you sit here reading this article.) Not new to the gaming community Mr. Coolatta and a few of his friends decided to make an online community , An organized community, in which people could bond and form strong friendships that would last a lifetime. We started with only fifteen members (who helped it become what it is today), six months later became three hundred. He never imagined it could be this big, but it was at this point he knew the potential his community had, and the new heights him and his team could reach.
Many people work to make EG a friendly and fun environment. There are still many things to come that would make and professional, casual, serious gamer smile. EG will bring you the latest news in gaming, entertainment, and everyday life. EG will host different types of matches based on skill, level, and ranks. There will be a ranking system to provide the ultimate Xbox bragging rights. There will be free ladder matches along with pay for matches, allowing you to win all sorts of prizes.
EG members are not in a clan, they are on teams, and the difference between any other team is, the way it gives back to its community in various different ways. EG is a social network, that helps you put faces to names. EG is a community that holds tournaments at your local game store with prizes such as those awesome hear all turtle beach headsets or that brand new game you’ve been waiting to drop at midnight. Or even going as far as helping its teammate who maybe struggling to pay their internet bill, Xbox live subscriptions, or replacing a damaged Xbox. EG is an awesome place to be. So when someone asks me what clan am I on, or what does EGR (Extreme Gaming Revolution) stands for? I tell them I am on a team not a clan, and it’s the best place I could be.
There are different divisions of EG, many different teams to be on, many different games played, so it doesn’t matter what your into if you not a member hurry up and become one. We’re all waiting for you. With structure and organization you can make any team good, but with awesome personalities and characters you can make any team great. So no matter what you come to EG for, get ready to smile, laugh, and have an awesome gaming experience. I know I have and you defiantly will. |

I am proud to say I was one of the first 15.
I may also make a follow up on this and go into some more detail, but then again this is a great synopsis of the story!
